ACEP Guidelines
2006 document that details the imaging criteria governing the more common Emergency Ultrasound applications, including aorta, biliary, echocardiography, pelvic ultrasound, renal, trauma, ultrasound-guided procedures, and venous thrombosis. This has everything: views, windows, technical considerations, pitfalls, etc.
This 2016 document is the LATEST defining policy statement regarding Emergency Ultrasound Guidelines. It discusses all aspects of ultrasound, including scope of practice and core applications, training and proficiency, credentialing, documentation, risk management, etc. This is a must-read for any Emergency Sonographer.
